About Me

I'm a loving daughter, sister and friend transplanted from New York, currently living in Orlando, Florida.  I'm a dreamer and a do-er and I need creativity to survive daily life.  I do jewelry design, cake decorating, photography, and, of course, I scrapbook.

    Day off means scrapbook time!

I have the day off from work today (even though I went in for half the day) so I'm enjoying scrapbooking!  I was anxious to start creating with Cosmo Cricket's EARLY BIRD line.  I LOVE Sunday brunch - probably one of my most favorite things to do is going to brunch at a restaurant and sit outside enjoying the day and people watching - so I thought it would be a perfect line to scrapbook some places I really enjoy going to.

(And if you're Cosmo Cricket reading this, scroll down for my previous post for my DT Call app!)

It's a work in progress, but here's the box so far.  I'm using a Maya Road box with chipboard inserts that I'll decorate with my favorite hot spots.

I thought it couldn't hurt to post some photos of invitation boxes I've made within the past year too, with the most recent being a few weeks ago.

The first one is an invitation box I created for my friend Erica when she married her husband Matt (who she's been with since we were 16!) November 1, 2008.  I love the fall colors.  I chose those flowers because I was able to get a hint of what her wedding colors were from a conversation I had with her prior to the wedding.

Then I made this invitation box for my cousin's beach themed Bat-Mitzvah that was a few weeks ago.  I LOVE the bright, bold colors!

I'll be opening an Etsy store soon so the boxes will be available there.

    Have a great day!
