Happy Halloween!
Sunday, November 1, 2009 at 12:32AM Life has been anything but scary around here. Actually, it's been pretty fantastic! I had the opportunity to join my aunt on her business trip to Paris and London at the beginning of the month and I jumped on it! I have never been to both of those places so it was all new to me. Needless to say, they were incredible. I really fell in love with Paris. London was fantastic too and I love its history but I really thought there was something special Paris had that I've never felt in other cities I've been to. I'm still sorting through over 2,000 photos so I'll post some when I pick my favorites.
I've also decided to make a Facebook fan page for all my creations since I take part in lots of crafts and assorted hobbies including jewelry design, cake decorating, scrapbooking and photography. What better way to showcase it all then on Facebook in this day and age? Seems to be the thing to do!
I'm geting more and more into photography and have really loved getting to "know" my camera better. (I have a Nikon D80 for all you camera people out there.) Being in Europe was a great excuse to just constantly shoot exposures off and I've continued to try to find excuses to do so now too. I would completely love to be a professional photographer one day in some capacity so I'm laying the ground work now.
Every day I feel like there just aren't enough hours to complete my life's to-do list but I feel really blessed to have so much to keep me busy from a wonderful job to incredible creative outlet. And I cannot fail to mention my boyfriend, Daniel, who's amazing in every way. And for anyone who's been in love, you must know that I feel like I'm floating most days and my feet are always slightly off the ground! Well, metaphorically speaking anyway!
Here's a cute scrapbook page I made of a photo of us taken recently. Don't you just love what Photoshop lets you do?
